Who can use DroidHub

You must be at least 13, or 16 where your country requires it. You need an account to chat, message, follow or drive; watching is open to everyone.

Keep your account details accurate and your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Credits

Credits are a prepaid balance you spend on turns at a robot's controls. They are not money, they have no cash value, they cannot be transferred or sold, and they do not expire while your account is open.

Each channel sets its own price per turn; the price shown when you queue is the price you pay. If a turn fails to start, we return the credits.

Top-ups are sold through Google Play, the App Store or Stripe. Those stores handle billing and refunds under their own policies — ask them first. Where the law gives you a right to a refund, that right stands whatever a store's policy says.

Credits still in your balance when you delete your account are forfeited.

Driving robots

A turn is time-limited and ends automatically. Control passes to the next person in the queue; a channel's operator can end a stream or a turn at any moment, and the robot's own safety limits always win.

Drive sensibly. Do not deliberately ram the robot into people, animals, property or itself, and do not use it to harass, film or trespass on anyone.

If you damage a robot or someone else's property through deliberate misuse, you are responsible for that damage.

We do not guarantee that any particular robot is available, live, or responsive. Latency, dropouts and hardware faults are part of driving a machine over the internet.

Your content

Chat messages, direct messages, your profile text and any photo you upload stay yours. You give us the licence we need to store them and show them to the people they are meant for — nothing more.

Do not post anything you do not have the right to post, and do not upload someone else's photo as your avatar.

We may remove content that breaks these terms or the community guidelines.

Broadcasting

If you operate a channel, you are responsible for the robot, the space it films, and the people and property in that space. Get consent before you broadcast anyone identifiable.

You set your channel's price per turn and turn length. You must not use the platform to collect money for something you do not deliver.

Keep your stream key secret. If it leaks, rotate it immediately.

Suspension and termination

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the community guidelines, or that puts a robot, a person or the platform at risk. Where it is fair to, we will warn first.

You can close your account at any time from SETTINGS → EDIT PROFILE.

The boring but important part

The service is provided as-is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we exclude implied warranties as far as the law allows.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Where our liability can be limited, it is capped at what you spent on DroidHub in the twelve months before the claim.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction — without taking away any protection you have under the law of the country you live in.
